2017 Whale Transfers $2.5 Million in ETH to Exchange
An Ethereum whale transferred 680 ETH (~$2.53 million) to Binance, while still holding a total of 3227.7 ETH ($12 million). The investor acquired the coins between 2017 and 2018.

During that period, the coin’s price fluctuated between $300 and $900.
The investor’s previous activity was recorded in July-September 2023, when 2773 ETH was withdrawn from the wallet.
Prior to this, in February-May 2021, the whale transferred 1296 ETH, and in November of the same year, another 972 ETH.

XRP Trader’s Windfall
On December 11, a client of the Rollbit platform achieved a 77.2x return on a long position in a perpetual contract on XRP with 500x leverage, turning $2560 into $197,701, as reported by CoinDesk.

The trader bought tokens at $1.902–1.905 and sold them at $2.137–2.298, capitalizing on a 27% asset increase (at extremes).
While holding the position, the user was close to liquidation, which could have occurred if the price fell below $1.9004.
The catalyst for renewed positive momentum was the news of Ripple Labs receiving approval to launch the RLUSD stablecoin.
On December 3, in anticipation of this event, XRP’s price reached a multi-year high of $2.909 amid increased whale activity.
Earlier, on December 9, ForkLog reported on another Ethereum whale earning $146 million.
In November, a holder of 398,891 ETH ($1.14 billion) began distribution after eight years of inactivity, as the asset’s price rose to $2800.
