500 BTC move after six-year dormancy

On January 10, a bitcoin wallet that had been dormant for six years moved its assets to a new address, according to Lookonchain.

A wallet that had been dormant for 6 years deposited all 500 $BTC ($46.87M) into #CoinbasePrime 2 hours ago.

500 BTC worth $46.87 million поступили to Coinbase Prime. 

Six years ago, when the funds were first credited to the original address, bitcoin traded at $7,000.

In November 2024, a wallet dormant for 14 years переместил to a new address 2,000 BTC (more than $180 million at the time). 

In late December, the Cosmos Network developers’ wallet перевел 295.3 BTC ($27.7 million) raised via a 2017 ICO.
