52-metre yacht put up for sale with payment in Bitcoin, Dogecoin or NFT

The owner of the 52-metre superyacht VIANNEconfirmed the possibility of buying or chartering it with digital assets. The condition is a 10% down payment in euros or US dollars.

The vessel is priced at €8.9 million ($10 million), with winter Caribbean charter at $196,000 per week. The owner accepts payment in BTC, ETH, DOGE, SOL, FTM, BNB, as well as non-fungible tokens (NFTs) from the CryptoPunk or Bored Ape Yacht Club collections.

“In the yachting industry, the number of services that can be paid with cryptocurrency is growing. To date, VIANNE is the largest yacht that can be bought for an NFT,” the statement said.

The yacht, steel-hulled with an aluminium superstructure, is capable of transatlantic crossings. VIANNE’s commercial class allows it to be chartered for charter operations.

The vessel is equipped with a helicopter pad, and a sea-view Jacuzzi on deck. In five staterooms it can accommodate up to 12 guests. A major refit was completed in 2021, and the interior is fitted with Ralph Lauren furnishings.

Earlier, an anonymous buyer paid $22.5 million in cryptocurrency for a penthouse in the Arte Surfside luxury condo in Miami.

In July, a mansion in Beverly Hills was put up for sale for $65 million, with payment options including Bitcoin.

In May, the Miami-based luxury yacht charter Prime Experiences began accepting cryptocurrency.
