Partisia Blockchain to Distribute 25 Million MPC Tokens in Airdrop

The developers of Partisia Blockchain have launched an airdrop program for 25 million MPC tokens, as reported to ForkLog by representatives of the project.

Partisia Blockchain is a privacy-focused blockchain that supports zero-knowledge proofs through multiparty computation (MPC).

MPC is the native token of Partisia Blockchain. Users can utilize it for transaction fees and staking.

“The program is designed to invigorate our ecosystem as we prepare for the listing of MPC on exchanges. Participants will gain experience with Partisia Blockchain and test new decentralized applications,” commented the project team.

To participate in the airdrop, one must transfer Ethereum (ETH), USD Coin (USDC), Polygon (MATIC), or BNB to a Partisia Blockchain wallet via the Bring Your Own Coin (BYOC) bridge. These assets can be converted into gas for fee payments.

Fees on the Partisia Blockchain network are fixed, with their cost pegged to the US dollar at a rate of 100,000 gas units per $1. The price for various operations on the blockchain is detailed in the yellow paper (page 16).

After transferring assets, participants need to conduct transactions within the Partisia Blockchain ecosystem applications. The allocation of MPC tokens considers:

• the amount of funds transferred;
• the amount of gas spent;
• daily activity.
