
TON Blockchain’s X Account Hacked to Promote Fake Airdrop
On the morning of March 19, unknown individuals hacked the X account of The Open Network (TON) blockchain and posted a fake announcement about an airdrop.
The perpetrators announced the distribution of the coin among its active users.
At the time of writing, control over the account has been restored.
Later, TON developers reported that the incident was related to a Calendly integration.

“We have cancelled this integration and taken further steps to enhance the security of our systems,” they wrote in a tweet.
Project representatives also promised to compensate all affected users who sent funds to the phishing link.
Earlier in March, the native token of the TON blockchain rose by 10% following news of a potential IPO by Telegram.
