Uzbekistan Licenses Third Crypto Depository

The NAPP of Uzbekistan has granted a license to JAPAN DXT for operating as a crypto depository.

This license enables the platform to issue, initially place, and store digital assets.

JAPAN DXT has become the third licensed crypto depository in the country. In addition, NAPP has also authorized the operation of two exchanges and ten crypto exchangers.

In Uzbekistan, registration is mandatory for cryptocurrency service providers. Since August 2022, authorities have been blocking unlicensed trading platforms.

In March 2024, NAPP increased the fees for registered bitcoin exchanges and exchangers in the country.
