
Ethena Protocol’s Interface Targeted by Hackers
Ethena Labs, the developer behind the “synthetic dollar” USDе, has temporarily shut down the project’s website following a breach of the domain registrar account. The site will remain offline until the issue is resolved.
We’ve worked with the registrar to regain control of our domain and had the phishing domains blocked across various services to protect our users.
To reiterate, the protocol is not affected and funds are secure.

The reasons for the incident are being clarified.
The team advised against interacting with “any site or application posing as Ethena’s frontend.”
The company clarified that the Ethereum-based protocol was not affected. User funds remain secure.
Back in July, hackers breached the websites of Compound and Celer Network. DeFi Llama co-founder 0xngmi stated that the vulnerability lay in the Squarespace website builder.
Earlier, Binance warned clients about the Clipper malware, which has seen increased activity in recent weeks. This malicious software replaces wallet addresses during transactions, leading to financial losses.
