Tokens from the TON Ecosystem Plummet 30–50% After Binance Listing
Tokens from the TON ecosystem, recently launched on Binance, have faced a wave of sell-offs. Compared to their ATH, prices have dropped by 30–50%.
Over the past 30 days, DOGS has decreased by 38.77%, HMSTR by 47.08%, and CATI by 37.08%.
The negative trend was triggered by reactions to updated token distribution rules for the gaming project Hamster Kombat.
On the first day, users were able to receive only 88.75% of the allocated HMSTR tokens. The remaining coins have been reserved until July 2025.
In addition to the unexpected vesting, developers significantly favored referral leaders and large holders of in-game keys in the token distribution.
Approximately 2.3 million users were excluded from the drop due to cheating.
The hashtag #boycotthamsterkombat has trended on X.
Earlier, the Hamster Kombat team announced the completion of the first stage and the beginning of an interim phase, during which players can earn diamonds.
The situation was analyzed by the ForkLog editorial team during a podcast.
