According to the statement, the solution employs a ZK-proof system for transactions between blockchains.
“To ensure the security of your funds, these bridges require just one honest participant in a pool potentially consisting of hundreds of operators in a decentralized, dynamic, and open set,” the developers noted.
The bridge integration makes Cardano the first major layer-one blockchain to connect to the BOS infrastructure.
The company behind Cardano’s development, Emurgo, has joined the project to enhance Grail’s liquidity, ensuring a “win-win connection” between Bitcoin and other assets.
BOS considers the bridge launch a significant milestone for the two “complementary” networks.
Previously, the protocol successfully verified the first zero-knowledge proof-based transaction on the Bitcoin mainnet.
In August, developers of the Binance-supported BNB Chain, in partnership with Celer, deBridge, and Stargate, launched an official cross-chain solution.
In July, the TON team promised to “build a bridge” to Bitcoin.
