Pantera Capital Predicts Bitcoin Surge to $740,000
Bitcoin is “far from a bubble” and could reach $740,000 by April 2028 if current growth rates persist, according to a report by Pantera Capital.
The forecast is based on the current trajectory with an average annual growth rate of 88%.

This is “not such an unimaginable figure compared to $500 trillion in financial assets overall.” At a price of $740,000, the market capitalization of digital gold would be $15 trillion.
The company is confident that the inauguration of Donald Trump as President of the United States will lead to regulatory clarity for the cryptocurrency industry.
“Members of Congress will take a neutral or pro-blockchain stance. […] 15-year regulatory headwinds are now becoming tailwinds,” the review states.
In conclusion, the CEO of Pantera Capital noted that, as a trader at Goldman Sachs, he was a pioneer in instruments such as ABS and emerging market bonds, which eventually became standalone asset classes.
He predicted a similar development for Bitcoin over 10 years ago in a letter to investors.
With a current capitalization of ~$2 trillion, the leading cryptocurrency is already in sixth place in the rankings.

In February, Pantera Capital predicted a rise in Bitcoin to $147,000 by 2025.
Earlier, analysts at Bernstein identified catalysts for the price increase of the leading cryptocurrency to $200,000.
