Floki Backs AI Agent Initiative on BNB Chain

The team behind the meme coin Floki has thrown its support behind the launch of what is being touted as the “most anticipated” project for developing AI agents on the BNB Chain—BAD.

AI agents are the fastest-growing sector in the crypto industry, with a market capitalization of $11.2 billion, according to a blog post by Floki.

Unlike Ethereum, Base, and Solana, BNB Chain lacks a platform in this sector, Floki representatives noted. The team decided to support BAD to advance the artificial intelligence field within the network.

BAD is a launchpad protocol for developing and deploying AI agents that possess deep knowledge, blockchain transaction capabilities, and access to various tools, API, and data.

BAD AI agents have unique roles and responsibilities, can autonomously manage communities and tokens. Users have the opportunity to form a whole group of neural networks capable of solving and improving “any tasks.”

1.35% of the total BAD token supply will be allocated to the Floki ecosystem. 10% will be sold on the Launchpad platform.

The BAD company was founded by Mike Sarvodaya, the creator of the L1 protocol Galactica.com.

AI in Ripple

Meanwhile, the developer of the Atua AI platform—KaJ Labs—announced a $100 million investment in creating “advanced” AI solutions within the XRP ecosystem.

“[…] This initiative aims to leverage XRP’s efficient and scalable infrastructure to provide AI-based tools that optimize business operations, enhance automation levels, and improve decision-making processes for enterprises worldwide,” the announcement stated.

The funds will be directed towards research and development, AI model training, and the launch of advanced solutions intended for XRP-based platforms.

Back in November, former Binance head Changpeng Zhao urged the development of AI-based products using blockchain technology.
