
HTX Issued Over 380,000 Security Alerts in January, Report Reveals
In January 2025, the cryptocurrency exchange HTX dispatched 380,003 security alerts: 339,480 via email and 40,523 through SMS, according to its monthly report.
The HTX team shut down six phishing sites and fake app download resources, and thwarted three attempts to withdraw funds to fraudulent addresses, returning 72,962 USDT to users.
HTX also reviewed and resolved seven cases involving stolen assets entering the platform. Consequently, the exchange froze funds totaling 193,702 USDT.
“In January, HTX blacklisted 189 new addresses and intercepted four related deposits amounting to 624,190 USDT. These measures helped prevent the inflow of illicit funds and strengthened the platform’s financial security,” the report states.
According to the February audit, the reserve ratio of major assets on HTX exceeds 100%: Bitcoin (101%), Ethereum (100%), TRON (105%), USDT (101%), HTX (104%), XRP (101%), Dogecoin (100%), and Solana (102%).

Users can access reserve information on the “Audit” page. HTX has been publishing monthly security reports in its blog since May 2024.
Back in October, the exchange intercepted seven attempts to withdraw to fraudulent addresses.
