Bitdeer Unveils New Miners with Efficiency Up to 14.9 J/TH

Jihan Wu’s company, Bitdeer, has announced the launch of its new SEALMINER A2 Pro series mining rigs, boasting an energy efficiency ratio of up to 14.9 J/TH.

The devices are enhanced versions of the SEALMINER A2. The updated series includes two models — SEALMINER A2 Pro Air (with air cooling) and SEALMINER A2 Pro Hyd (with hydro cooling).

Key specifications of the rigs include:

• SEALMINER A2 Pro Air: energy efficiency ratio of 14.9 J/TH ±5%, hash rate from 255 TH/s to 270 TH/s ±10%, power consumption from 3790 W to 4050 W ±10%;
• SEALMINER A2 Pro Hyd: energy efficiency ratio of 14.9 J/TH ±5%, hash rate from 500 TH/s to 530 TH/s ±10%, power consumption from 7450 W to 7900 W ±10%.

“The SEALMINER A2 Pro series marks a breakthrough in power supply efficiency, reaching 97%. The A2 Pro Hyd features enhanced high-temperature performance, operating steadily with inlet water temperatures up to 60°C and outlet temperatures up to 70°C. Both models maintain the series’ characteristic low-noise design, minimizing sound interference during operation,” the company noted. 

Earlier, Bitdeer announced the successful testing of its new SEAL03 Bitcoin mining chip, which demonstrated an energy efficiency of 9.7 J/TH. 

According to analysts at Bernstein, sales of mining equipment in the United States alone could reach $20 billion over the next five years.
