Co-founder of 1inch: AI to Transform the Internet and Crypto Market
Artificial intelligence is set to transform not only decentralized finance but the entire internet within the next five to ten years. This was stated by Anton Bukov, co-founder of 1inch Network, during the “Podcast Society” on ForkLog’s YouTube channel.
In his view, a significant portion of online traffic will be generated by AI, leading to a rethinking of content monetization and user interaction with web services.
“The advertising revenue model will become obsolete, as AI agents simply ignore it. Instead, micropayments for each request will emerge — for example, through HTTP headers, making the internet sustainable and economically viable for creators,” noted Bukov.
In the context of DeFi, artificial intelligence will become a key tool for analyzing smart contracts, preventing attacks, and optimizing transactions. Bukov emphasized that integrating AI with crypto wallets will allow for the creation of autonomous assistants capable of managing assets without direct access to users’ funds.
“AI bots will be able to independently pay for services like requests to BigQuery or OpenAI, using DeFi protocols. Cryptocurrencies are ideal for this, as traditional banks are not ready to interact with AI,” he added.
According to Bukov, DeFi is evolving towards financial freedom, where AI will provide users with access to global liquidity without regulatory barriers.
