Central Bank of Russia adds IPChain-based platform to the register of investment platforms

The Central Bank of Russia has included the Co-Fi crowdfunding platform, operating on the IPChain distributed intellectual-property registry, in the register of investment platforms. ForkLog was told this by IPChain representatives.

It is reported that Co-Fi is the first digital platform in Russia to provide investment loans secured by intellectual property.

The blockchain will ensure transparency of deals between rights holders and people willing to provide loans to inventors and authors secured by intellectual property.

Earlier, Roscosmos signed a cooperation agreement with the IPChain association to implement blockchain infrastructure.
