Huobi Global to strengthen its presence in the Russian market

As part of expanding the geographic reach of its services, the Seychelles-based cryptocurrency exchange Huobi Global announced a partnership with Huobi Russia, which has operated as an independent entity since 2018.

In addition to leveraging Huobi Global’s technology and liquidity, the Russian partner will retain privileged rights to further develop its own digital platforms and solutions.

\n

Huobi Russia’s CEO, Vladimir Demin, has been appointed a partner and chief adviser to Huobi Global and will assist in developing the Russian market.

\n

Huobi Russia users will migrate to the Huobi Global platform. Huobi Global Markets vice president Kira San assured that it will be a smooth process ‘in one click’.

Huobi Russia’s trading volumes account for 10% of Huobi Global’s total. The number of Russian clients is about 4,000, who have access to spot, margin and over-the-counter trading, as well as custodial services.

Earlier this week, Huobi formed Global DeFi Alliance — “an international consortium of centralized and decentralized providers of financial services and platforms”.
