Bitcoin price holds above $10,000 for 29 days, first time in two years

Bitcoin has remained above $10,000 for 29 days. This has not happened since the start of 2018.

The longest period during which Bitcoin remained above $10,000 began in November 2017 and lasted 63 days. Industry participants are already weighing the odds of a new record.

Charles Stori, co-founder of PhutureDAO, noted that Bitcoin’s recent successes are partly due to the DeFi sector.

“With the recent influx of capital aimed at the DeFi sector, the benefits for Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are becoming evident. Fresh capital always initially flows into Bitcoin. This is only the beginning,” as cited by Decrypt.

Earlier, the number of addresses with a balance above 1,000 BTC reached a new record at the 2,200 mark.
