BitMEX launches mobile app for crypto-derivatives trading

The cryptocurrency derivatives exchange BitMEX has released a mobile app that implements the platform’s core features.

In a press release on BitMEX’s website, it is stated that the BitMEX Mobile app makes trading on mobile devices ‘simple, smart, and very secure’. Users have access to biometric authentication, fast navigation, funds management, and the ability to place limit orders, stop orders, and take-profit orders.

To render charts more effectively on mobile, developers built specialized software for their rendering, Ben Radcliffe, Chief Commercial Officer of 100x Group, which owns the BitMEX holding, told The Block in an interview.

The BitMEX Mobile app is currently available on Android and iOS for users in 140 countries. Russia and the CIS are not among them yet, but the exchange says it will regularly expand its geographic reach.

Earlier in August, BitMEX demanded that users verify their address and provide identity documents.
