Video recording was published by a lawyer and Typhon Capital Management CEO James Koutoulas. According to him, the former Block.one project adviser refused to receive legal documents through a lawyer.
“When you’re trying to dodge prosecution in a securities-fraud case, perhaps it’s better to postpone the odd presidential campaign,” said Koutoulas.
Earlier, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Block.one CEO Brendan Blumer, the startup’s CTO Daniel Larimer, former partner Ian Grigg, and former adviser to Brock Pierce’s project.
EOS investors claim that in their effort to raise large sums from the sale of unregistered securities, Block.one representatives provided false information.
On July 5, Brock Pierce announced his bid for the United States presidency as an independent candidate. His campaign runs under the slogan “Leadership. Experience. Values.”
