FTX extends registration for the ‘Three-Digit Tournament’ for Russian-speaking traders and triples the prize pool

The cryptocurrency derivatives exchange FTX has extended the registration deadline for the ‘Three-Digit Tournament’ for Russian-speaking traders, representatives of the exchange told ForkLog.

Registration will be open from October 10 to 31.

“We have seen increased interest in the tournament from traders and decided to extend the registration period. Anyone can participate in the tournament and win prizes just for trading on FTX,” said FTX CEO Ailant Kolayev.

Moreover, FTX has tripled the prize pool. Prizes will be awarded to participants who first reach the trading volumes:

• from $1.11m — $333 for 165 traders;
• from $2.22m — $777 for 99 traders;
• from $5.55m — $888 for 33 traders;
• from $9.99m — $999 for 27 traders.

In each category there are additional prizes:

• from $1.11m — $100 in FTT tokens for 30 random users;
• from $2.22m — VIP1-level fees until the end of the year for 30 random users. VIP1 fee is 0.03% for takers and 0% for makers;
• from $5.55m — VIP2-level fees until the end for all participants. VIP2 fee is 0.0275% for takers and 0% for makers;
• from $9.99m — VIP3-level fees until year-end for all participants. VIP3 fee is 0.0250% for takers and 0% for makers;
• from $1.11m to $9.99m — VIP1-level fees until year-end for the top 15 by MOVE contract trading volume.

Traders can trade with leverage. The prize pool will continue to grow as the number of tournament participants increases.
