Coinbase adds direct crypto purchases in Wallet

Users of Coinbase’s cryptocurrency wallet can now buy digital assets with fiat directly in the wallet app.

You can now buy crypto from https://t.co/bCG11KMQ6s right within Coinbase Wallet. Dapp and DeFi users can go from 0 to 1 with just one easy app install.

Previously, users of Coinbase Wallet had to buy their first cryptocurrency on an exchange and then manually transfer it to the wallet, the company noted.

Most digital assets supported by Coinbase are available via the new option.

Initially, the service launched in the United States for Android users. The company plans to expand it to iOS and other countries.

The wallet supports purchasing cryptocurrency with the Coinbase Card debit card.

Earlier Coinbase offered customers in the US, the United Kingdom and the EU the possibility of ‘instant’ withdrawals.
