Waves integrates Solana into Gravity protocol to spur cross-chain DeFi
The Solana blockchain will become the first external element in Waves’ strategy to drive mass cross-chain DeFi via the Gravity interoperability protocol.
Waves is integrating @solana into @ProtocolGravity! This enables Solana to work in conjunction with other integrated chains, oracle systems and data providers. In this article, we explore advantages of this integration for the community.https://t.co/VuF6ra9MwJ

As a result of the integration, the Solana blockchain will become available for data transfer between Gravity network participants.
Initially, Solana will be integrated as a target network, enabling the blockchain to work with other connected networks, oracle systems and data providers.
The native Solana (SOL) token will appear on exchanges on the Waves protocol and in future Gravity target networks. Tokens issued on Waves will be available on Solana.
Developers of dapps built on Solana and Waves will gain access to Gravity oracle data. They will also be able to create cross-chain dapps.
Earlier in September, Waves announced a partnership with the Fantom project to create a broader DeFi ecosystem built on Gravity.
