
$22 million in Bitcoin moved from Huobi to OKEx despite withdrawal suspension
An anonymous user transferred 1,995 BTC (about $22.6 million) from the Huobi cryptocurrency exchange to OKEx. The motive for the transaction remains unclear in light of the temporary withdrawal suspension.
According to Whale Alert, the amount was split into two transactions, separated by 2.5 hours.

Some users speculated that the sender did not receive OKEx’s notice of the withdrawal suspension.
According to Chain.info, thanks to the transfer of 1,995 BTC from Huobi, OKEx’s outflow over the past 24 hours fell to 6,269 BTC. At the time of writing, OKEx’s cold, hot and deposit wallets held 276,184 BTC.

Update: Whale Alert recorded moves of 5,000 BTC and 3,500 BTC from OKEx to Binance addresses. The service representatives said these could be internal exchange transfers.
