
Facebook users report blocking of bitcoin-related content
Some Facebook users reported blocking of bitcoin-related information. When entering the hashtag #bitcoin, a message appeared stating that the content was “temporarily hidden” for safety reasons.

Reddit threads claim that Facebook limited the display of information for the hashtag allegedly due to violations of community policy. But not everyone receives such notices: several users, regardless of location, did not notice any problems with the results.
In July, cryptocurrency firms announced plans to file a class-action lawsuit against Google, Facebook and Twitter, citing the harm caused by bans on digital-currency advertising on these platforms.
