Fidelity Digital Assets to hire more than 20 blockchain developers

Fidelity Investments’ Digital Assets division will hire more than 20 engineers to broaden its footprint in the cryptocurrency space, as stated in a press release.

Fidelity Digital Assets did not specify what the new hires would do exactly. The company is open to considering candidates with experience working with Amazon Web Services, Java developers, and data specialists.

“We want to attract accomplished, enthusiastic, innovative developers who enjoy working in a fast-changing environment,” the statement said.

Earlier, Fidelity Investments’ cryptocurrency division entered into an agreement with the Singapore-based company Stack Funds. Under the partnership, some of the latter’s clients will gain access to custodial services.

In a July report, Fidelity Digital Assets specialists described Bitcoin as “an inspiring store of value.” They argued that the volatility of the leading cryptocurrency supports its adoption.
