Grayscale Ethereum Trust assets top $1 billion

The assets of the Grayscale Ethereum Trust under Grayscale Investments surpassed the $1 billion mark.

Over the last 24 hours, Ethereum rose by 8.8%. At the time of writing, the asset’s price stood at $445.

The majority of Grayscale’s investment portfolio is held in a Bitcoin-based fund, at $7.2 billion. From January to October 2020, the company’s BTC-denominated assets rose by 61.2%, from 283,190 BTC to 456,530 BTC.

Grayscale also offers investments in Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum Classic, Horizen, Litecoin, Stellar Lumens, XRP and Zcash-based products. As of November 6, the company’s total assets under management stood at $8.6 billion.

Earlier in November, Grayscale Investments bought 75,419 ETH. At that time, assets under management were valued at $7.7 billion.
