Cryptocurrency scammers duped a Russian man out of 1.5 million rubles

A resident of Altai Krai lost about 1.5 million rubles while trying to earn money on a cryptocurrency exchange, according to the regional police press service.

The victim found information about the trading platform online. After earning a small profit, he decided to invest 1 million rubles, borrowing part of the funds.

However, after transferring the amount to the site, the victim found that all actions in the personal account were blocked.

The police opened a criminal case on the fraud charges.

Earlier, a resident of Mezhdurechensk became the victim of a similar fraud scheme. She lost 700,000 rubles on «investments».
