In Abkhazia, another large batch of miners detained

The Department for Combating Customs Offences and Rapid Response in Abkhazia, in cooperation with law enforcement, detected illegally imported mining rigs.

As reported on the Customs Committee’s website, a total of 330 units of equipment for cryptocurrency mining were identified.

As reported in one of resolutions of the cabinet on mining regulation, the import of miners into Abkhazia is temporarily banned.

Since then, the Department for Combating Customs Offences has detained several batches of illegally imported equipment.

By 10 November, the Abkhazian Ministry of Economy added to the registry 65 mining farms.
