Swiss firm launches ‘fee-free’ Bitcoin ETP
Valour Structured Products of Switzerland has launched, as claimed, the world’s first Bitcoin-based exchange-traded product (ETP) with a zero management fee.
According to the press release, trading of Bitcoin Zero ETP began today in EUR and SEK pairs on the Nordic Growth Markets stock exchange in Stockholm.
“Our mission is to make investments in breakthrough technologies accessible to everyone. The launch of Bitcoin Zero ETP is largely a part of that,” said Valour founder and chief executive Johan Vattenström.
Despite the absence of management fees, investors will pay standard brokerage commissions when trading the product, the firm warned.
Nordic Growth Markets is a 100% subsidiary of Germany’s second-largest stock exchange, Börse Stuttgart.
Earlier on the Nordic platform, ETPs based on Ripple XRP and Litecoin LTC from XBT Provider were launched.
