RSK to launch tool enabling interaction between Bitcoin and Aave

The developers of the RSK platform announced the launch of a tool enabling interaction between Bitcoin and Aave’s DeFi service token.

“Aave Protocol comes to Bitcoin thanks to the RSK team! This is a huge step for expanding the ecosystem of decentralized finance,” said representatives of Aave.

The integration questions will be handled entirely by the RSK team. Previously, the latter managed to partner with Chainlink, using the Token Bridge tool.

“First, we will work intensively on the test network. After achieving the appropriate quality and security parameters, we will proceed to use the solution. This can be done in a short time,” according to the Aave site.

RSK Labs is developing the first open-source smart-contract platform with two-way pegging to Bitcoin, which also offers an additional economic incentive for miners.

Earlier, RSK launched the “interoperability bridge,” enabling interaction between the Bitcoin and Ethereum blockchains.
