Monobank co-founder backs Bitcoin, offers bullish price forecast

Co-founder of Ukraine’s monobank, Oleg Gorohovsky admitted that he holds a sizeable portfolio of bitcoins.

“I have long held a fairly large portfolio of bitcoins, and I would also recommend you buy it,” he wrote on Facebook.

\n

According to the entrepreneur, Tesla’s recent investment in cryptocurrency has convinced him that Bitcoin isn’t going anywhere.

\n

“I share the most optimistic forecasts about its price and I believe the price will be above $100,000 in this or next year,” forecasts Oleg Gorohovsky.

\n

Back in February, Elon Musk’s company announced a $1.5 billion investment in Bitcoin. Tesla signaled that in the future it may integrate the first cryptocurrency as a means of payment for its products.

\n

Against this backdrop, the asset’s price rose to $44,800, and on February 9 tested the $48,000 mark.

\n

The movement of the first cryptocurrency toward $100 000 was not ruled out by Galaxy Digital founder Mike Novogratz.
