TV star Kevin O’Leary plans to allocate 3% of his assets to Bitcoin

The investor and star of the TV show ‘Shark Tank,’ Kevin O’Leary, said he intends to allocate 3% of his assets to Bitcoin.

“What is Bitcoin? A currency? Property? An asset? Maybe all of the above,” — wrote O’Leary.

He added that he is considering investments in miners and the development of ‘carbon-free coins’.

Earlier in December 2020, O’Leary said he was prepared to allocate 5% of his portfolio to digital gold through an exchange-traded fund (ETF).

Earlier, CNBC host Jim Cramer spoke about investing in Bitcoin when the price was below $18,000.
