ImToken’s Ethereum wallet team raises $30 million

ImToken developers, the non-custodial wallet and DApps browser with asset-management features, raised $30 million in a Series B round.

The funding round was led by Qiming, with participation from Xiaomi, Meitu, Megvi and IDG Capital. IDG Capital backed the project at an early stage.

The funds will be used to build a secure and user-friendly gateway to DeFi services in the next version of the app.

ImToken plans to launch a research division that will focus on further expanding the functionality of its products.

The imToken ecosystem includes an Ethereum wallet, the decentralized exchange Tokenlon, and a decentralized app store (DApp Store).

Earlier, Bakkt launched a mobile Bitcoin wallet.

Earlier, Vlad Tenev, co-founder of the Robinhood platform, announced the addition of a crypto wallet to the service.
