
Stellar Network Suffers Outage
As of writing, the Stellar network’s latest transactions were more than six hours old, according to data from the блокчейн-обозревателя.

Bitfinex CTO Paolo Ardoino said withdrawals of XLM, the native cryptocurrency of the Stellar project, had been halted.

Bitstamp has taken a similar approach.

The technical issues have not prevented the token’s price from rising 6.4% over the last 24 hours at the time of writing, according to CoinGecko. In the top-15 by market capitalization, the asset ranked 13th, rising behind only XRP (+34%), Cardano (+6.6%) and Litecoin (+9%).
On March 2, Stellar developers activated the Horizon 2.0 update, which added flexibility and ease of use for users working in this ecosystem.
Earlier, on December 4, 2020, the Solana network was down for six hours due to a bug.
