British fintech company Revolut has launched trading in the meme cryptocurrency Dogecoin (DOGE) in its mobile app.

Revolut supports the ability to buy, sell and store 30 cryptocurrencies. In early April, the online bank doubled the list of digital assets.

“Earlier I said that 2021 would be the year of cryptocurrencies, and Revolut is delivering on the promise. One of the most popular requests from users in recent months was the addition of Dogecoin, and we have responded to the request,” — said Edward Cooper, head of the digital assets division at Revolut.

In early May, the fintech added the option to withdraw Bitcoin to external wallets.

Earlier in June, Coinbase Pro added Dogecoin to its listing.

A recent survey showed that Americans had heard more about meme cryptocurrency than Ethereum.
