Velas launches a $5 million grants program.

Velas Netwok AG has launched a grants program for developers of dapps in the Velas network. Investments in participants’ projects will total up to $100,000.

Eligible for grants are:

• products related to DeFi, DEXs and NFTs;
• games: educational, collectible, card games, and those that combine blockchain with AI, VR/AR and other high-tech fields;
• dapps for interacting with the traditional economy, healthcare, manufacturing and other sectors;
• projects aimed at popularising blockchain and cryptocurrencies.

Developers will build apps for Velas or port them from Ethereum. All dapps must have open-source code.

To participate in the program, submit an application via Google Form. Organizers will review it within 14 business days.

The number of applications is not limited. To receive a grant again, you must complete the previous project.

Velas is a blockchain project of Velas Network AG. It is developing the Velas 3.0 ecosystem, which includes the eponymous blockchain based on the AI Delegated Proof-of-Stake consensus algorithm, the multi-currency wallet Velas Wallet, the decentralized storage of private keys Velas Vault, the Velasphere cloud computing network, and the decentralized social network BitOrbit.
