Heavy Metal magazine releases NFT collection featuring elements from its covers

The American adult magazine Heavy Metal has released a collection of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) featuring elements from four of its own covers.

On the Curio platform, 3,600 tokens are being sold at 0.02 ETH (about $78.54 at the time of writing). Each contains a Cover Element NFT.

From September 24, collectors will be able to combine three corresponding elements into a complete cover as an NFT.

Owners of NFTs from the first Heavy Metal collection can exchange their points for lottery tickets to win up to 25 tokens.

The popular American magazines TIME, Playboy and Fortune have issued their own NFTs. The New York Times The New York Times also joined.

Earlier, the price of the original Dogecoin meme-coin NFT symbol reached $225 million after a successful fractional sale.

In a related note, ForkLog’s seven-year anniversary NFT sold at auction for 6.74 ETH.
