On Wednesday, October 20, the investment platform Public.com, having launched crypto trading earlier this month, added SHIB to its list of supported assets. Following this, the project’s Twitter account suggested that the online broker Robinhood might take a similar step.

On October 21, Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev gave an interview to CNBC’s Mad Money host Jim Cramer. When asked whether the online broker planned to offer clients access to Shiba Inu, he declined to confirm or deny the rumours of a potential listing, further stirring community interest in the cryptocurrency.

Robinhood also offers another meme cryptocurrency — Dogecoin (DOGE). From January to March 2021, 62% of the company’s cryptocurrency-related revenue came from trading DOGE.

The Shiba Inu rally has continued for weeks. At the start of the month, the cryptocurrency overtook Uniswap, Avalanche and Litecoin in market capitalisation.

Back in September, the bitcoin exchange Coinbase launched SHIB trading. Its price jumped 33%.
