OneOf positions itself as an “eco-friendly NFT platform” built on the Tezos blockchain, designed for the music community.
The tokens will be digital collectibles dedicated to Grammy winners and nominees. The partners promised to reveal details in January 2022.
Part of the proceeds from sales will go to the National Academy’s scholarship fund.
“We are always looking for ways to help artists explore new forms of creative expression, as well as create ways for them to earn income and engage fans with the artists,” said Panos Panay, the academy’s co-president.
In May OneOf raised $63 million in a seed funding round. The round included eco-activist Bill Tai, Jack Herrick, Suna Said from Nima Capital, Sangha Capital and Tezos Foundation.
Earlier in June, the company McLaren Racing announced a technical partnership with the Tezos blockchain project to create an NFT platform.
