Binance launches fan tokens for FC Porto

The cryptocurrency exchange Binance announced a collaboration with the Portuguese football club FC Porto and the launch of PORTO fan tokens. ForkLog learned this from company representatives.

Under the terms of the deal, Binance’s logo will appear on the team’s kit: in the first season on the back of the shirt, and subsequently on the sleeves.

The PORTO token is available to all exchange users. It will enable the club to enhance fan engagement through unique rewards, interactivity, gamification, and more.

\”With fan tokens, fans will be able to collect rare NFT, participate in exclusive polls and gain access to unique rewards depending on their level of engagement,\” said Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao.

Earlier in October, Binance launched fan tokens for the Italian football club «Lazio» and became the main sponsor of its football kit.
