The Graph Foundation team announces integration of its service with the Aurora protocol

The Graph Foundation team, behind the decentralized data-indexing protocol, has begun testing the integration of its service with the Layer 2 solution Aurora. ForkLog reported by project representatives.

The integration will allow developers to create public API (subgraphs) that can be used by decentralized applications that support the Aurora protocol.

“The integration with The Graph provides developers with access to vast data sets that they can use in any products—from decentralised exchanges to DAO and community-driven social networks governed by the community. We see how this works on Ethereum, and we believe the initiative will attract many new developers to the NEAR ecosystem,” explained Aurora co-founder and CEO Alex Shevchenko.

Aurora combines two core technologies: a fully functional Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and a cross-chain bridge based on Rainbow Bridge. The protocol was launched in May 2021.

Earlier, the Graph Foundation team began testing the service on the NEAR Protocol network.

Earlier, the Aurora developers signed an agreement with ConsenSys, a company specialising in building solutions for the Ethereum ecosystem.
