Morgenshtern Buys Toncoin for 10 Million Rubles

Rapper and video blogger Morgenshtern backed the developers of The Open Network (TON) and said he sees his future in “metaverses, NFTs and the crypto world.” He wrote this on his Instagram.

According to Morgenshtern, he had been skeptical about cryptocurrencies, but “it’s foolish to ignore the realities.”

“Money is dirty; the future is in crypto,” wrote the rapper [author’s spelling and punctuation preserved].

He said that after speaking with TON’s developers, he decided to back the team:

“This is the project I believe in most right now, and in which I will take an active part.”

In Instagram Stories the rapper also said that he invested 10 million rubles in Toncoin.

In December, TON’s team behind Toncoin received backing from Telegram founder Pavel Durov.

Earlier in September, Morgenshtern announced the launch of an NFT platform.
