Elon Musk vows to prevent a machine uprising

Musk advocates decentralized robot control to avert a machine uprising.

Tesla could play a pivotal role in the development of artificial general intelligence, and in preventing a potential machine uprising against humans. Elon Musk wrote this on Twitter.

Optimus, or Optimus Subprime, is the codename Musk gave to the Tesla Bot project.

According to the billionaire, decentralized control over humanoid robots will prevent the ‘rise of the machines’. This will not allow the androids to access military technologies and will exclude their organized participation in a mass revolt against humans.

Musk also promised to demonstrate a working prototype of the Tesla Bot by the end of 2022.

Earlier in August 2021, Elon Musk unveiled the humanoid Tesla Bot. The billionaire said it is intended to perform “dangerous, repetitive and boring tasks”.

In December, the billionaire stated that Tesla bots will prevent the collapse of civilization.

In the same month, Musk said that Tesla Bot will be able to develop a unique personality.
