Moonstake staking pool adds Everscale support
The native token of the Everscale project (EVER) is now available for staking in the Moonstake pool, with a current yield of 6% per year.
The Everscale governance council noted that the partnership could boost the project’s popularity in Asia. Everscale currently maintains active communities in Japan, Vietnam, and South Korea.
According to the service Staking Rewards, the total value of cryptocurrencies locked in Moonstake is $500 million. The company operating the pool is registered in Singapore, and its founder is Mitsuru Tedzura.
Moonstake can be accessed via a web wallet or a mobile app. In addition to Everscale, pool users can participate in staking for Cardano, Tezos, Polkadot, Cosmos, Ontology, and other coins.
Users can also send EVER to the staking pool via the popular wallet Surf. Since late 2021 it has featured the Boosted Staking program, launched in collaboration with Everstake. It is the world’s largest staking pool, having helped found Everscale (then Free TON) in spring 2020.
The Boosted Staking program offers higher yields from EVER staking. Its rate is fixed and depends on the size of the user’s stake, as well as the duration for which they lock their funds in the pool — six months, one year, one and a half, or two years can be chosen.
Funds can be withdrawn only after the end of the chosen period. The coins earned by the user as staking rewards are automatically reinvested.
The maximum yield in Boosted Staking is 20%. It can be reached by staking at least 100,000 EVER for 2 years. Participation in the program is available only through the Surf wallet.
Earlier in Everscale presented a roadmap for 2022, and the processing service Simplex added support for EVER.
