Russian Finance Ministry Flags the Importance of Cryptocurrencies

Digital currencies are an important part of building the financial architecture, as stated by Ivan Chebeskov, head of the Department of Financial Policy at the Russian Ministry of Finance.

“The Russian Ministry of Finance, together with Innopolis University, is in its second year of implementing the Anchor Educational Center project. In order to provide priority Russian industries with qualified personnel, in demand in modern conditions,” the official added.

Earlier, Chebeskov said that sanctions had boosted Russia’s motivation to develop its own crypto-market infrastructure.
