
Kanye West registers trademarks tied to NFTs and cryptocurrencies
The firm Mascotte Holdings, linked to the famous rapper Kanye West, filed 17 trademark applications under the YEEZUS brand. Among the contemplated uses — NFTs and metaverses.

In one of documents it states the potential of \”providing an online marketplace for buyers of crypto- and/or digital collectibles, currencies, tokens and assets\”.
Mascotte Holdings intends to cover a broad range of potential products outside the crypto space, including clothing, video games, retail stores, amusement parks, cosmetics.
The YEEZUS brand is linked to the artist’s sixth solo album of the same name, released in 2013.
On January 31, West posted a photo of a note on his Instagram. In it he wrote: \”Don’t ask me to do the damn NFT… ask me later.\” The post has since been deleted.

Earlier, in February, rapper Snoop Dogg announced the transformation of Death Row Records into the first NFT label.
Later the musician announced plans to create digital cannabis farms in the MOBLAND project’s metaverse.
Earlier, Snoop Dogg disclosed that he is Cozomo de’ Medici, the collector of hundreds of non-fungible tokens.
