Sberbank announces first DFA deal
The first deal involving digital financial assets (DFA) on Sber’s platform will take place within a month. This was заявил by Anatoly Popov, deputy chairman of the board of Sberbank, in an interview with TASS.
According to him, the necessary system tests have been completed.
“Our platform has already undergone acceptance testing, and within a month the first deal will take place,” Popov said.
The deputy chairman also said that Sber is monitoring developments in new technologies, including distributed ledger technologies, and is already developing projects that use them.
As noted, Sber, along with Atomyze and LLC Lighthouse, is included in the registry of information-system operators, in which digital financial assets are issued.
According to the head of the State Duma committee on financial markets, Anatoly Aksakov, the first DFAs may be issued in Russia by the end of 2022.
Earlier, Lighthouse and Tinkoff Business developed a solution for automating operations between token issuers and investors.
