Konvoy Ventures launches $150 million fund focused on Web3 games

Venture firm Konvoy Ventures announced the launch of a $150 million fund, focused on gaming Web3 platforms.

According to the statement, interest in Konvoy Fund III includes companies operating at the intersection of education and healthcare. Geographically, the fund will target the United States, Europe and Africa, and will also expand its presence in Asian and Latin American countries.

“This new fund will allow us not only to focus on additional regions but also on new types of companies and technologies,” said managing partner Jackson Won.

In late 2021, Konvoy Ventures participated in the Series A financing of the 3D avatar platform Ready Player Me for $13 million.

Earlier, in June 2022, the Ethereum NFT scaling solutions developer Immutable launched a $500 million fund focused on Web3 games.

In the same month, the blockchain infrastructure platform Alchemy announced a program to support Web3 startups and developers, in the amount of $25 million.
