Solana to open a physical store in a prestigious New York mall

On July 28, the Solana Foundation will open the doors of a store focused on experiential interaction with the ecosystem Solana. The space is located in a shopping centre in the prestigious Hudson Yards district on Manhattan, New York, USA.

Near the Solana Spaces checkout, NFT images from the Degenerate Ape Academy collection are displayed. Visitors will be able to pay for purchases using the Solana Pay payment system.

The space also houses an installation that visualizes activity on the Solana blockchain in real time, including completed transactions and issued NFTs.

Across Solana Spaces there are various stations designed to attract people to the industry. At one of them visitors can open a wallet Phantom and record a seed phrase on a small card.

Other stations are devoted to learning how to work on platforms such as STEPN and Magic Eden. You can also get a glimpse of the announced Web3 smartphone Solana Saga.

Merchandise is available with community-known catchphrases such as WAGMI, degen, not financial advice, and probably nothing.

According to Vibhu Norbi, CEO of Solana Spaces, the initiative is aimed at attracting and educating those who are not yet familiar with the industry or who are just taking their first steps in it.

“This is an experiment that, we think, will appeal to many people,” he added.
