Shark Tank star Kevin O’Leary increases Bitcoin exposure amid crypto winter

Investor and Shark Tank star Kevin O’Leary told in an interview with Stansberry Research that he has increased his positions in digital assets, despite the bear market in cryptocurrencies.

“I have always said that you will face volatility in an industry that is not regulated,” he reminded.

O’Leary invested in “cryptocurrencies with a large market capitalization, such as Ethereum and Bitcoin.”

“Why not increase the position if you plan to stay in the market for the long term?” he said.

The television star regards one of the crypto industry’s main current problems as the lack of sufficient adoption of digital assets among institutional investors.

In April, O’Leary said that holds 32 positions in cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin and Solana.

Earlier, he expressed interest in buying shares of mining companies that use green energy.
